Witold Zakrzewski (painter)
Witold Zakrzewski (born 1962 in Rzeszow) - painter, graphic artist.
He graduated from the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznan (now the University of Arts in Poznan) at the Faculty of Fine Arts and later at the Faculty of Painting, Graphic Arts and Sculpture. In 1986 he defended his master's thesis at prof. Marian Golka from the field of art sociology Second cycle in art in 1985 in Poznań, while studying philosophy at the University of Warsaw. Adam Mickiewicz. Graduated from the painting studio prof. Norbert Skupniewicz in 1988.
He co-operated with Alma-Art at the Fama 1988 and 1989 Student Festival. He conducts design activities, social activities and painting easels. In 1996, he founded the Center for Contemporary Art - an informal organization for the promotion of youth from Poznan art schools from Poznań. In the years 2001 - 2006 he is the President of the District of the Poznań Association of Polish Artists. Together with the ZAK Gallery Club he initiated in 2002 the Artistic House in Poznań. Founder and originator of Szyperska Gallery, Poznań Gallery, Art Biennale Biennial, Multimedia Catalog of Artists of Poznan and Wielkopolska. Curator of many exhibitions, consultant and curator of the DigiTouch Gallery in Berlin. In 2006 he becomes the President of the Ecological Association of Creative Environments EKOART. He initiates a series of annual Environmental Review EKOART since 2008 and in collaboration with the Botanical Garden of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, outdoor workshops.
