Asortymentacja


The assortment consists in making the choice what the entrepreneur will produce and sell. This choice largely determines the possibilities of entry into the market, organization of the entire production process, sales and income effects. The assertiveness requirements must, on the one hand, relate to the resources of the company and, on the other, to the profitability of the company, through satisfactory customer satisfaction.

Because of the way the goods are prepared for sale and the place of their occurrence, the distinction is:

Assortment of production - a set of goods representing the production profile of the enterprise or plant. This product is usually sold to wholesale units. The feature of the product range is the substantial homogeneity resulting from the specialization of the manufacturers. It is based on raw or technological affinity of products eg rubber, metallurgical products

Assortment of goods - a set of goods in the wholesaler or retailer that was created as a result of the purchase, processing and completion of goods from different manufacturers to prepare it for final sale. It is created on the basis of the family's consumer needs. Retailers are therefore focusing on goods of a similar designation and similar purchase frequency, eg vegetables and fruits, articles related to clothing.
