Chemical reactivity
Chemical reactivity - the ability of compounds and chemical elements to enter a chemical reaction with another compound or element.
Chemical reactivity is generally referred to in the context of the general capacity of a particular chemical or element to react with a certain group of other elements or compounds under specified conditions. For example, higher sodium reactivity to lithium is expressed by the fact that sodium at room temperature is much faster and reacts more rapidly to water and acids than lithium.
