Quagga - free software that implements TCP / IP based routing protocols.

Supports RIP (v1 and v2), OSPF (v1, v2, v3) and BGP (v4) protocols in both traditional and IPv6. IS-IS support is also available, though not perfect.

The Quagga project is a continuation of the undisclosed GNU Zebra software. Like Zebra, Quagga is modular, and each routing protocol occurs as a separate process in the system. The configuration of individual routing protocols is done using a syntax very similar to the syntax used on Cisco devices.
