Samuel Christian Hollmann

Samuel Christian Hollmann (born 3 December 1696 in Szczecin, 4 September 1787 in Göttingen) is a professor of physics and philosophy at Georgiana University in Göttingen. On October 14, 1734, he delivered his first speech in college history.

Hollmann was a member of the Royal Society from 1747 and a two-time Director of the Academy of Sciences in Göttingen. Georg Christoph Lichtenberg was one of his students. Authoritative control (person):
