Jan Trzynadlowski
Jan Trzynadlowski (born 29 December 1912 in Lviv, died 18 May 1995 in Jelenia Góra) is a Polish theorist and literary historian, publisher.
He graduated from the Faculty of Humanities at Jan Kazimierz University in Lviv.
In the years 1945-1950 he was an employee of the University of Lodz. He belonged to the Lodz Scientific Society. Since 1950 he lived in Wroclaw, since 1951 he was associated with Wrocław University. In 1966 he was awarded the title of Professor. Between 1956 and 1960 he was the director and editor-in-chief of Ossolineum. From 1964 to 1985 he was Secretary General of the Wroclaw Scientific Society.
He dealt with film theory. Edited by: Film - Theory and Practice (1989), Film - the art of cultural exploration and discovery (1996).
Selected publications:
In the years 1959-1974 he was a secret co-worker of the Security Service of the People's Republic of Poland under the pseudonym Konrad. As agent Konrad played a key role in the operation of the secret archive of Stanisław Mikołajczyk, containing the memoirs of Wincenty Witos. Bibliography
