Lesław Tokarski

Lesław Tokarski (born February 11, 1930 in Gdynia, December 12, 2007) is a Polish journalist, head of the Press, Radio and Television Department of the Polish Central Committee.

editor-in-chief of "Young Fighters" (1956-1957), "Voice of Wielkopolska" (1970-1981) and "Perspektywy" weekly. Between 1986 and 1989 he was a member of the Economic and Social Council of the Sejm of the People's Republic of Poland. In the years 1986-1989 he was a member of the Grunwald National Committee.

In the years 1948-1956 he was a member of the ZMP and since 1953 he belonged to the PZPR. In the years 1962-1971 he was a member of the PZPR Regional Committee in Poznan.

Knight of the Knight, Officer and Commander of the Order of the Rebirth of Poland and the Golden Cross of Merit.

He was buried on December 19, 2007, at the North Cemetery in Warsaw. Bibliography
