The Galician government was originally divided into 18 circuits. The composition of the circus was dominated by (until 1866) and city councils. Moravian-Silesian Moravian Government was initially divided into 8 Circuits.
In 1849 the function of the gubernium began to take over the governors of the crown states, with the emperor appointed by the emperor, which lasted until the establishment of Austro-Hungarian in 1867. The Law of 12 August 1866 abolished the districts and dominions by establishing districts instead of them, and their suburbs and manor areas.
