Immunodyfuzja radialna
Radial Immune Deficiency - This is an immunodiffusion technique used in immunology to determine the concentration of immunoglobulins or other bodily proteins by measuring the radius of the surrounding antigen sample, marked by the boundary between it and the antibody (protein). This is because the sought antigen from the test serum diffuses radially into the agar containing the appropriate antibody. As a result of the immune response, an antigen-antibody complex is evident in the form of a precipitating ring. The concentration of the antigen tested is proportional to the diameter of the ring (d). The read value d is compared to the tables or standard curve for the particular protein of known concentration. Bibliography
