Volsoc - American musical project by Justin Maxwell and Jean-Paul Bondy.

It was created after a series of joint performances on the South-California rave scene in 1999-2000. The name is a combination of Volum pseudonyms and Stupid Octave Cat ("soc"). The first joint recording was a song titled " JRUMN released in 2001 on compilation SCR.COMP.002. Initially, it was planned to work with Monotone, but ultimately, Volsoc released their first album through the German World Electric. This is the debut EP. Compuphonic Intelligence has provided artists with international popularity in electro and breakbeat environments. Coming from it, some of the electroclash Compuphonic Intelligence and minimalist Shout Out turned out to be one of the most popular electro tracks of the 2002-2003 period.
