Beatrice Masini has completed classical philology. She worked as editor, journalist (for Italian journals Il Giornale and La Voce), translator (translated into Italian the last five volumes of the Harry Potter series J. Rowling). He is the author of dozens of books for children, from illustrated books to the youngest to teenage novels. She succeeded in the book Casa di bambole non si tocca, published by Salani in 1998. Premio Castello di Sanguinetto, Premio Pippi, Premio Elsa Morante Ragazzi and Premio Andersen - Il mondo dell'infanzia. Her books have been translated into many languages.
