Marek Harny


Marek Harny (born September 11, 1946 in Zabrze) is a Polish writer.

He completed his journalism at the University of Warsaw. His literary debut was a collection of short stories, "Lift Me, Big Bird", published in 1975, for which he received the literary prize for them. Stanisław Piętak. In addition to short stories, he created several novels. In 2003, his novel "Born of the Wind" was published, about the WiN activity in Podhale, based in part on the author's own experiences, which he spent in Nowy Sącz. Another of his novels, "Pismak", received the Grand Caliber Award during the 3rd edition of the Crime Festival.
