John Tyszler


Jan Tyszler (born January 9, 1933 in Wieluń), son of John and Maria from the house of Nonas. Polish film operator and television producer.

Graduated from the Department of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (1958) and the faculty of the PWSTiF in Łódź (1963). Since 1963 he has been permanently associated with TVP SA as a light producer and occasional image operator. The author of the light for more than a few thousand television programs, festivals in Opole, Sopot, Kołobrzeg, Zielona Góra, numerous Theaters of Television and artistic performances. Co-founder of Mariusz Walter's famous Studio 2. For television and artistic activity awarded with the Gold Medal of TVP, Bronze and Silver Cross of Merit and First Degree Prize of TVP. In the years 1980-1990 senior lecturer at the faculty of the realization of the television University of Silesia. Member of the Board of the Creative Workers' Union TVA S.A "Vision". Initiator of its creation. In the years 1975-1981 a journalist and photojournalist of the magazine "Magazyn Rodzinny". Apart from television activities, he is distinguished by his paintings, portraits and compositions. Since 2006 retired. He is working with TVP. In 2015, his book "Wielun and memory" was published.

Married, wife Alice is a teacher, daughter Marta Tyszler - journalist.
