Maciej Potępa (born 1945), Polish philosopher, professor.

He studied philosophy and physics at the University of Warsaw. In the years 1969-2001 he worked at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Lodz, and in 1997-2002 at the Institute of Philosophy of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In 2001 he became a lecturer at the University of Warmia and Mazury in the Institute of Philosophy. He was a fellowship of the foundation. Alexandra von Humboldt in the years 1982-1984.
