Significant digits, value digits - decimal digits of the measured physical quantity, starting from the first non-zero digit to the last digit whose value does not change within the accepted confidence interval.
Example: The voltage is determined by 0 , 001 & # xA0; 023 & # xA0; 41 & # xA0; V , {\ displaystyle 0,001 \ 023 \ 41 \ V, \;}
The accuracy of the measurement is ± 0 , 000 & # xA0; 003 & # xA0; V {\displaystyle \pm 0,000\ 003\ V} .
