Split bomb 12 kg FA. 35 - Polish 12 kg weight bomb.

At the end of the 1920s, 27 weight scale 12 kg. The new bombs were designed similar to the German 12.5 kg PuW bomb introduced to armaments during the First World War. In the early 1930s a modernized version of the bomb was introduced. 27 denoted as wz. 33, but it was still a construction that reached its roots in the previous World War. In 1935 the Ammunition Factory No. 1 started production of a new 12 kg shelling bomb in the FA. 35. It had a similar shape to the predecessor drip shape, but a completely new one was the windmill fuse and the ballast with four bushes stiffened sheet metal struts. Bomb in 35 was produced until 1939. Its export version has also been developed. 36 intended for Bulgarian aviation. Bomb in 36 had a smaller span and a hook to hang on the vertical ejectors.

35 had a drip-tipped body. It was rolled with tartrate or picric acid. The bomb was armed with an overhead blower, a 48/60 FA wz. 35. The fuse was secured with a cotter pin attached to the bomb ejector. After pulling the cotter pin was pulled out, so it was possible to unlock the windmill which after making the right number of revolutions came out of the bomb and unlocked the igniter. The bomb was hung on the ejectors in a horizontal position on a single hanger. Bibliography
