History

The TWIKE I horizontal bike prototype was built between 1985 and 1986 by a group of Swiss students and was presented at EXPO 1986 in Vancouver. The success of the project at this prestigious exhibition has led to the development of the construction and commencement of series production of a modified and improved version of the TWIKE electric bike.
