Wojciech Bobol
Wojciech Bobol of the Piaskow coat of arms Leliwa, (born 1561, May 27, 1606) - Polish nobleman, owner of Strachociny.
Born in Strachocin, son of Hieronymus Boboli (owner of Strachocin and Viennese) and Catherine, cousin of St. Andrzej Bobola, grandson of Jan Bobola (married to Helena of Żurawica, then with Katarzyna Śliwicka), had eight children.
Brother Wojciech, ks. Andrzej Bobola, was pastor and chief of the hospital in the years 1576-1604 in Dubiecko.
He fought against Russia under Smolensk, fell on May 27, 1606 near Moscow - during the armed assault on Muscovy to the Polish army, constituting the retinue of Czarne Maryna Mniszchówny. Bibliography
