Bogdan Chojna (born October 26, 1953 in Warsaw, February 15, 2005) is an entrepreneur, creator of the "Teraz Polska" contest. Curriculum vitae
He studied at the University of Warsaw, graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, as well as Polish and English studies. In 1992-1993 he was the President of the State Agency for Foreign Investment; deputy commissioner of Expo'92 in Seville. Translator, publicist, entrepreneur working in several industries, President of 4Aspirations S.C., publisher of Consumer Magazine "Solidna Firma". He initiated several well-known competitions - "Now Poland", "Solid Partner" (1997), "Teraz Internet" (2000), "Master of Polish Language" (2001). In the years 1991-1996 he was honorary president of the Polish Promotional Emblem Foundation (organizer of the "Teraz Polska" contest).
He died tragically, stabbed in his own apartment, probably in the face of family misunderstandings. In November 2007 the Warsaw District Court ruled that Ireneusz M., suspected of murdering Bogdan Chojna, would not be tried, but would go to a psychiatric hospital. After being routinely monitored by the suspect, he ruled that he was completely insane.
Bogdana Chojny's sister is Elżbieta Chojna-Duch, former deputy finance minister. Bibliography
