Jewish cemetery in Niezdrowice


Jewish cemetery near Niezdrowice - Jewish cemetery founded in 1822, is located near the village of Niezdrowice. It is located in the forest, located at the road leading to Kedzierzyn-Koźle (about 750 meters from the road).

It was a place of burial of Jews inhabited, among others. in the Ujazd. Destroyed during World War II (about 0.5 hectares survived about 32 matzevot, some of which are overturned). In 2011, there were 57 matzevot in the cemetery, the majority made of sandstone. There are inscriptions in the matzevot. German and Hebrew. The oldest preserved tombstone dates back to 1822 and contains remains of Havy B. Mose. Bibliography
