Carl Heinrich Gleichen


Baron Carl Heinrich von Gleichen (born 1733, died 1807) is a Danish and Austrian diplomat. Curriculum vitae

Of Danish origin. He was a Danish extraordinary ambassador in Paris. On March 15, 1766, he was accompanied by Polish special envoy Feliks Franciszek Łoyko. Some time later he went to Austria.

Between 1768 and 1770 he served as ambassador to Austria in France. Later he was an ambassador in the Kingdom of Naples. He was there from 1 July 1771 to 15 August of this year as Envoye extraordinaire.

His relative was Count Carl Friedrich von Hatzfeldt-Gleichen (1718-1793). Bibliography
