Konstanty Nieciecki


Konstanty Nieciecki (born 1906 in Petrograd, died November 10, 1937 in Leningrad) is a Soviet journalist.

He was born in 1906 in Petrograd (St. Petersburg) in a working family (son of Francis). In 1928 he became a member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolshevik). Until 1930 he worked at the factory. W.I. Lenin. He graduated from the Evening Institute of Journalism in Leningrad. In the beginning of 1930, he was posted as a Leningrad Oblast Commissioner (B) to the Leningrad Oblast of the Leningrad Oblast to the editorial office of the regional newspaper «Колхозник-животновод» (Kołchoźnik - Animal Breeder). In April 1930 he signed the first issue of the newspaper. He worked as an editor of this newspaper until the beginning of 1932. On September 11, 1937, he was arrested by the NKVD, and on November 3 of that year he was tried by the Military Tribunal of the Leningrad Military District. On November 10, 1937 Konstanty Nieciecki was executed by shooting. Presumably buried in the collective grave at the "Lewaszowski" cemetery in St. Petersburg. On January 9, 1961 he was rehabilitated posthumously. Bibliography
