The Malazan Empire - a fantasy world described by Steven Erikson in the Malazan Book of the Fall. By 2011, 9 volumes were published, the last one being in preparation. The Malazan Empire plays a key role in the first four volumes and in the sixth volume, but the author announces that it will no longer play a decisive role in the next four volumes.

The Malazan Empire bases its strength on a well-trained army of associations with the armies of the Roman Empire and modern American marines.
