Nitragina

Nitragine - a biological preparation (bacterial fertilizer) containing a specially adapted strain of symbiotic papillary bacteria prepared for the treatment of legume seeds.

Nitragine is seeded directly before sowing, usually using a water slurry. Rhizobium or Bradyrhizobium papillae, capable of binding free atmospheric nitrogen, in the form of sterile spores develop in the soil and infect the host plant, causing the warts to form on the roots of symbiotic plants. These bacteria are closely matched to the plant with high virulence and affinity to the host. These bacteria assimilate atmospheric nitrogen and supply it in a suitable form to the plants. This practice saves on the nitrogen fertilization of plants, but their activity is dependent on environmental conditions.
