Pentagon Papers
Pentagon Papers are a popular secret name, with 7,000. The pages of a report by the United States government to describe the history of American involvement in the Vietnam War. This report gained fame when it was stolen and forwarded to the New York Times by Daniel Ellsberg and then published in 1971.
The official title of the report is the United States-Vietnam Relations, 1945-1967: A Study Prepared by the Department of Defense, US-Vietnam Relations, 1945-1967: Defense Department Report.
