Political error


Political error - the decision to take or abandon a political action that brings unplanned and unforeseen negative effects. The sources of political error include: ignorance, lack of experience, and the characteristics of decision-makers' personalities that are inadequate to their position and political roles, making it impossible to correctly identify the conditions and mechanisms of public life. There is an objective political error and a subjective political error.
