Room Sonata


Sonata da camera - an Italian term for chamber sonatas, a triathlon sonat type created for secular performances.

This is an instrumental piece of the baroque period of the Italian craze, consisting of three or more stylized dance parts (sometimes with an introductory part). He composed for one or more instruments and basso continuo.

Sonata da camera, in his most illustrious figure in Arcangelo Corelli's (1653-1713), was quite fluid because both sonata da chiesa influenced each other. This joint influence is also reflected in German composers, especially Georg Friedrich Händel. Bibliography Authoritative control (Sonata):
