Location of the dialect of patués

Patués, also called: benasqués - dialects of Aragon, Gascony and Catalan, belonging to the dialect group of the western Aragonese variant.

Dialect of patués is used in the vicinity of the Benasque Valley, in the Spanish province of Huesca, in Aragon.

Dialects were used by Spanish writers Carmen Castán, José Antonio Saura and Chusé María Ferrer.

The number of people who speak the dialect varies between 1,000 and 2,500.
