EBIB - Electronic Library - librarian and information worker portal - a website designed for people working in libraries or information centers, students and librarians and interested in library science.

Since 1999, it has been created by volunteer librarians from all over the country from various libraries of both the National and Academic libraries, public and other. Within the framework of the portal many information services (law, work, conferences, magazines, catalogs, etc.), professional journals or publications sections were created.

The platform is popular with librarians and over 50% of librarians are active. Between 2001 and 2010 EBIB acted in the structure of the Association of Polish Librarians as the Commission for Electronic Publishers. In 2010 the team decided to return to self-employment for this purpose. He established the EBIB Association, which aims to create a website and a magazine for librarians. In addition to organizational changes, the portal has acquired a new graphic design and technology, enriching communication with readers about EBIBlog and Facebook profile.
