Dolina Koprowica (Kovprovnica) - the Tatra valley located in Slovakia, the largest tributary of the Tichá valley in the lower Liptov region.

The Koprowica Valley borders:

The valley has a surface of just over 5 km² and is carved into crystalline rocks. It is mostly forested (in the higher parts grow limbs) and overgrown with a cradle, but in its upper parts are still many grassy areas. It flows through the Koprowica stream (Kôprovnica), a tributary of the Quiet Water of Liptov (Tichý potok). The valley is inaccessible to tourists, since 1948 is a strict protection area for TANAP.

The name of the valley, as well as the name of the neighboring Koprowa Valley and other similar, comes from carrots, by the Slovaks called kôprovníček bezobalný, but does not relate to copper ore (Kupfer), never here. Bibliography
