prolativum


Prolativus - one of the cases in declination occurring primarily in the Finnish language. It means the relation of designativity to movement, or the way in which the designatum overcomes the path. It may also be a way of expressing how to perform the action specified in the sentence. At the moment of disappearance, seldom creates new words, but often found in literature and in written language. Finnish language

Prolativus is formed by adding a -tse to the core of the word on the weak foot.

Prolativus is usually formed from plural form, even if used singular.
