The disappearance of grain in 2003
In 2003, Prossob received an order from the Agricultural Market Agency to store a total of about 30,000 tonnes of cereals (rye, wheat, oilseed rape) as a state reserve. According to the Prosecutor's Office, the owner of the company was to use the grain belonging to ARR as a collateral for its loans in BGŻ (PLN 12 million) and another commercial bank (PLN 5 million). Losses from ARR amounted to about PLN 15 million of grain value belonging to ARR. In the same year, about 12 thousand disappeared. tons of grain from the company owned by Ryszard Bonda, as well as four other magazines in the north of Poland. In these cases, a total of seven prosecutors are involved. The disappearance of such large quantities of grain from the market was attributed to a rise in bread prices during this period.
