Miriam Rothschild


Dame Miriam Louisa Rothschild (5 August 1908 - January 20, 2005), British scholar, zoologist and entomologist.

She came from the famous bankers family, she was the daughter of Charles Rothschild, banker and ecologist. In his research work, he was a global authority on fleas. As the first to investigate the mechanism of flea jumping and their reproductive cycle. Author of more than 350 scientific papers, as well as books devoted to family members (Rothschild's Reserves - time and fragile nature) and his uncle Dear Lord Rothschild.
