Wojciech Wiewiorowski


Wojciech Wiewiorowski (born 1928, died August 12, 2007) - Polish scuba diver, participant of many scientific and research expeditions, member of the Commission of Underwater Activities of the General Board of PTTK, founder of the PoznaƄ Aquatic Club "Akwanauta", chemist

During World War II he was a soldier of the Gray Battalion Assault Battalion, a member of the Warsaw Uprising in the Company of the Battalion "Milosz", led by Kazimierz Leski "Bradl". He participated in min. in the fights for the building of the Sejm. Stalagium prisoner: Sandbostel, Hamburg and Huzum, member of the British Security Company Sylt.

In 1973, he was a delegate to the Commission on Underwater Activities at the GCG at the CMAS congress in London.

He died on August 12, 2007, and was buried on August 17 at the Naramowicki Cemetery in Poznan. Bibliography
